How to Unlock a locked iPod Touch 3G....but will work for them all!

How to unlock a disabled iPod Touch.....this is a A1318.....3G w/ 32GB... 1. Download latest version of iTunes from www.itunes.com or www.apple.com 2. Download firmware from following site To download firmware: www.felixbruns.de 3. Restart computer by turning off completely and then starting. 4. open iTunes from desktop with iPod unplugged, hold in "home" button and plug in. (you may also see your ipod on the left side of the screen and click on it) there will be a message saying to restore your ipod 5. Hold down the shift key and press restore. 6. Find the firmware you downloaded and press ok 7. wait. follow all directions. you have to wait until iTunes tells you to unplug the iPod or you will mess it up and have to do it again. This was locked further than is shown in the video, I unlocked it and then decided to make a video showing others how to do this. When my brother first gave this to me it would not do anything but come on with the disabled screen, and you could not do anything but turn it off. From holding the power button and the home button it would come on with the apple, then letting go of the power button would allow it to tell you to plug it into iTunes to fix the problem, but when I first tried this without the firmware it would not let me reset the phone. If you have just forgotten your password than just a simple restore will work.
